One day I will stop writing poems about my relationship with Australia and my weird inability to just accept being alive in a place. I MUST UNDERSTAND YOU, IMPASSIVE MOTHER NATURE. I MUST DISSECT YOU, WEIRD SUMMER ENNUI. If some day you come across your faithful author just sort of sitting naked on the ground eating dirt and eucalyptus leaves and sobbing, don't be surprised. 

Also it doesn't even get that hot where I am it's a southern coastal town and it's actually pretty much just like Britain but with 30 degree summer days occasionally I'm such a poserrrrrrrrrrr

Edit: OK I don't know how many of you read this when I first published it like....a month and a half ago but I just came back to it, tweaked a couple of words about sheep organs and oceans, and axed the last stanza entirely. It feels so good. I feel good about it now.
